North Yorkshire carers' forum

The forum meets on a quarterly basis and aims to ensure that carers' views can influence the way our services, and care services, are developed.

If you provide unpaid care or support to an adult friend or family member who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems, we invite you to take part in the North Yorkshire carers' forum.

The County Council supports the North Yorkshire Carers Forum.  This is a way for the council to involve carers in developing and checking adult social care services.  The Carers Forum has been reflecting on the Forum as a method of involvement, looking at what works well and what could be improved.

Attending meetings

Any North Yorkshire carer can attend the free forum meetings. If you would like to attend, contact Avril Hunter on 01609 536898 or email avril.hunter@northyorks.gov.uk.

The location for forum meetings rotates around the county to make it easier for people from different parts of the county to attend. The locations are Scarborough, Harrogate, Selby, and Easingwold.

View the terms of reference for more information on how the forum operates.
