NYCC Approved Provider Lists for Adult Social Care

This webpage brings together useful information for organisations who are applying to be on North Yorkshire County Council’s Approved Provider Lists for Adult Social Care (2022-2027).

 


We intend to evaluate applications to join the Approved Provider Lists for adult social care every three months unless in exceptional circumstances such as in the event of market failure or insufficient capacity in the market. The closing dates for the application windows in 2024 are as follows:

31st January 2024

30th April 2024

31st July 2024

31st October 2024

Go4Growth support will continue to be available to providers in the lead up to future application windows.

What will the new Approved Provider Lists cover?

The new APLs will cover the following services:

  • Nursing & Residential
  • Home Based Support
  • Supported Living
  • Community Based Support

 

What support is available?

Go4Growth is working alongside North Yorkshire County Council to provide organisations with resources and support around the application process, YorTender portal and non-technical questions.

Go4Growth is providing support to NYCC to enable us to be open for business to all. Go4Growth’s support is available to all organisations of all sizes who are interested in applying to be part of the APLs, including organisations who are part of the existing lists.

In addition to the support Go4Growth are providing to NYCC as part of the APL procurement exercise, Go4Growth also a have a range of resources to support small businesses and VCSE organisations, including an action planning tool to support organisations looking to win new business with the public sector. Please find below information about resources and events which you may find useful in preparing to apply to join the new APLs.

Please note, Go4Growth is unable to advise on any technical queries or queries related to the specifications themselves.  If you have a non-process question, please check the answers to clarification questions on YorTender and FAQsIf your query is preventing you submitting your application please contact us via the messaging facility in Yortender.

Existing providers are welcome to raise questions at the weekly Care Connected sessions and these will be followed up with the appropriate teams.

The Independent Care Group (ICG) is also happy to talk to providers who have questions they do not feel they can ask Go4Growth or NYCC Procurement. Quality Questions 

You must achieve a minimum of 60% across all of the scored quality questions to be accepted onto the new APLs. It is therefore vital that you read, understand and provide full answers to these questions.
